Magnetic locks provide a silent, smooth, and elegant closure, and since the latch stays retracted when the door is open, there is no need for an unsightly striker-plate on the door frame, creating a clean minimalistic look when the door is closed. This aesthetic is perfectly aligned with the sleek design of Verum's Nuda collection, eliminating visible mechanical components and reducing visual noise. The Verum magnetic locks are available in the same finishes as the Nuda collection for total coordination.

The Magnetic Passage/Bathroom lock is designed for use on both passage and privacy doors. Use the same lock for both types of installation, simply adding the privacy snib where required. Turning the snib stops the latch from being retracted, locking the door without the need for additional privacy bolts. This also allows all doors to be prepared exactly the same, resulting in a clean and consistent aesthetic.

Not for use with metal door frames. See Mechanical Latches for similar aesthetic if your project includes metal door frames.
