Brisbane-based architects Alcorn Middleton designed the Spiggy showroom to be a unique destination for architectural hardware, breaking away from the traditional hardware store feel. Their signature design concept, "hide and reveal," creates intrigue and encourages customer engagement through interaction with the products.

A multi-door display on the rear wall showcases curated brands waiting to be discovered behind doors that themselves demonstrate different installation options. A tiered island showcases "jewel-like" components and uses subtle curves to provide a neutral background that highlights the hardware and directs visitors to the rear wall and "jewelry-store" style display drawers. This design was short-listed for the Australian Institute of Architecture Awards.
