We were delighted to be commissioned to produce this stunning handle cast from an actual branch. Made from the purest form of bronze and finished with an aged patina, the result is quite simply beautiful.
We are able to apply aged patina in varying stains if required, so we started by sending a small sample handle (ironically our TWIG handle) with the required staining effect so that our client could confirm that the aged patina suited his requirements. Once approved, we cast the branch and hand-polished, hand-stained to the desired effect, the whole process taking approximately 8 weeks from order.
The handle was installed onto a copper effect door for a project just outside of Melbourne, reflecting the rural location of this architecturally designed new home.
